It is closer to plastic surgery than to curative surgery, in my view. Also, I disagree with the idea that GM food is the solution to hunger in the “developing” word. I believe hunger is not caused by natural food shortage but rather by (often violent) political conflicts and the sick global financial system that is ruling the world right now. But I am no expert, that was just my personal opinion about the issue as a Muslim. Wa salam
